4. Operating Procedures

1. Open the air source valve of the granule sprayer, adjust the intake pressure so that the pressure gauge on the control panel indicates a value of 0.08~0.1MPa, and check whether the air circuit is unobstructed.

2. Turn on the power switch inside the control box; the power indicator light will turn on.

3. Adjust the feed speed control knob to the appropriate position and set the time relay.

4. Press the start button. The motor starts running, and the time relay begins timing.

5. After solvent starts to blow out, insert the spray pipe into the molten aluminum. The end of the spray pipe should be 150~200mm above the furnace bottom and must not touch the bottom to prevent blockage. For good refining effect, the spray pipe should be moved continuously in parallel within the molten aluminum.

6. When the purification blowing time ends, the motor automatically stops running. About two minutes later, withdraw the spray pipe from the molten aluminum.

7. Close the air source valve and turn off the equipment power. This spraying session is complete. For the next spraying, repeat the above operations.

5. Operating Precautions

1. Operating principle: first open air, then open refining agent; first close refining agent, then close air.

2. Strictly follow the operating procedures; otherwise, normal use may be affected. If the equipment does not operate due to improper operation, shut down according to the normal shutdown sequence, wait 2~5 minutes, then restart following the correct operation sequence.

3. Ensure the refining agent used is the dedicated refining agent for spraying; do not use refining agents that are damp, caked, or mixed with other impurities!!!

4. Before each use, the outer surface of the spray pipe must be coated with paint to prevent corrosion by molten aluminum; remove any deposits on the inner wall of the front end to keep the pipeline unobstructed. Do not use spray pipes that are severely deformed due to impact or squeezing.

5. When adjusting the feed speed control knob (on the electrical installation board inside the chassis), turn gently without applying excessive force; pay extra attention to protection when cleaning the equipment to avoid damage.

6. The recommended refining gas pressure is 0.08~0.1MPa (specific to the factory conditions).

7. The material box opening should be covered and sealed when not in use. If the machine is unused for a long time, be sure to blow out all refining agent inside the material box to prevent moisture.

8. The equipment uses single-phase AC220V power supply.

9. The equipment must be grounded; the ground wire must be dedicated and well grounded. Absolutely do not mix ground and neutral. Otherwise, it will seriously damage electrical components and may pose danger to operator safety. Damage caused by no grounding or poor grounding is not covered by warranty.

10. Since this equipment is mobile, regularly check the wiring to avoid affecting normal use.

11. Determining the feed speed control knob gear: Addition speed (unit: g/min) = Total addition per batch (unit: g) ÷ Refining time (unit: min). Then compare the calculated value with the parameters in the refining agent addition speed reference table to determine the actual required gear.

12. During refining, if blockage is detected (pressure rises), immediately press the "Stop" switch, then turn off the power, withdraw the spray pipe from the molten aluminum, and check the cause of blockage (① spray pipe blockage ② foreign objects in the feed pusher). After troubleshooting, restart operation.

6. Equipment Maintenance

1. Must keep the equipment clean and hygienic, regularly clean, especially inside the chassis, electrical components, and discharge port.

2. During use, pay attention to dustproof, moisture-proof, and overheating prevention. Regularly inspect and clean to ensure safe and normal operation.

3. The equipment carries dangerous voltage during use; even when not running, the power input line and motor terminals may still have dangerous voltage. After switching off, wait more than 2 minutes before discharging.

4. During use, pay attention to whether the motor operates normally.
